We will start setting up and decorating around 12:30pm. If you're able to help, please come early!

Please plan to arrive with food 1-1:30pm.

We will start serving food right around 1:30pm. Meals work best when all the food is there. Please be on time.

If you have plants or goods you wish to trade or sell, you are welcome to bring them. We will probably have a designated area for this so you may or may not be eating near your stuff.

We'll spend part of the afternoon talking about past and future activities by the various clubs in attendance. We are excited to see the local CP community grow!

Potluck:

SCCPE will provide build-your-own-tacos as a main dish. We are looking for folks to bring entrees, sides, deserts, and drinks! Please bring portions to feed at least 10 people. There is a tendency for a lot of side dishes and deserts so please consider bringing some sort of main dish/entree.

Plates, cups, utensils, etc. will be provided by the club.

Gift Exchange:

To participate, please bring new or like-new carnivorous plant related gifts valued around $20 that you, yourself, would love to win. No gag gifts! Please have it wrapped or in a bag so participants can't tell what is inside. Please do not wrap gifts to make them intentionally difficult to open.

For each gift you bring you will get a ticket. Bring as many gifts as you like. Whatever number of gifts you bring, you will be going home with the same. If you want to play 5 times, bring 5 gifts!

Opened gifts can be stolen up to 2 times. The third owner locks it in place.

Toy/Gift Drive:

If you'd like to donate toys/gifts for less-fortunate children and teens this season, please bring new items to donate. We will collect them at the party and drop them off to the local charity we have selected to support, Illumination Foundation.

Raffle:

We will have a raffle to help recover costs of hosting the event. We are asking folks to consider donating plants or related goods for the raffle. And, of course, we encourage you to purchase tickets! If you wear swag from your club and/or wear official name badges, you will earn free tickets. Donating to the raffle will also earn you some free tickets.

We will also have a separate special raffle for your chance to win a
SET of the Nepenthes books from Red Fern.

Location and Parking:

Here is a graphic to show where we'll be within the facility. Please look for signage in the northeast area of the building. There is plenty of parking. If you want to temporarily park to unload, you may do so at the curb but please do not block traffic.
